One of the reasons why I started taking my DIY nails more seriously was that I loved having them done, but hated going to the salon. Between the over stimulating environment with bright lights, loud sounds and potent product fragrances, and wanting to save money as a teen with limited income, the at home approach was simply more suited to my needs.
When creating Acme Nail Studio, I wanted to make sure that I gave my clients the agency to feel as comfortable as possible, with customizable preferences at booking. I want you to enjoy the experience of getting your nails done as much as the final product!
When it comes to pricing, I factor in materials to my business costs and just simply charge for my time and expertise. The number of colors, amount of fingers that have art or type of finish doesn’t impact pricing, only the complexity of the design and length of the nail.
To me, adding a chrome finish to a single color that takes an extra 5 minutes isn’t worth the upcharge. I want you to leave 100% happy every time and be able to maintain your nail care on a regular basis! You’ll know exactly what I’ll charge you before you come in so there’s no surprises come check out.
